The Whole of the Old Testament Speaks of Jesus

My pastors (www.TheMovementChurch.info) have said many times that the whole of the Old Testament speaks of Jesus, that the Holy Bible is ALL about Jesus Christ and God's plan through Him.

I just read first-hand that Jesus says the exact same thing (in one of the Gospels, the Book of Luke, Chapter 24):

"He said to them, 'How foolish you are, and how slow to believe all that the prophets have spoken! Did not the Messiah have to suffer these things and then enter his glory?' And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself."
(Luke 24:25-27)

"He said to them, 'This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms.'”
(Luke 24:44)

Thank You, Father, for your ways being above our ways, and your thoughts above our finite thinking. Thank You for Jesus, and for the Holy Spirit -- and for Your divine plan.

Why Does Life Seem to Suck Sometimes?

Wondering WHY your days seem to suck so bad at times? If you consider yourself a 'Christian,' read on.

I think the following 3 bits of scripture form a great, loving 'reminder' for us:

"We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation."

(Romans 5:3-4)

"In the day of prosperity be joyful, and in the day of adversity consider: God... has made the one as well as the other..."

(Ecclesiastes 7:14)

"So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God's will. Then you will receive all that he has promised."

(Hebrews 10:35-36)

Thank You, Jesus, for loving us.

I Don't Care Where You Were On 9/11

I don't care where you were on the morning of September 11, 2001.

I do care about their souls, about your soul.

There is nothing more powerful than praying to the Almighty God for help. It's not 'all we can do.' It's the best thing we can do.

Please, PRAY for the families & loved ones of those who died. Pray for God, for Jesus Christ our Lord, to grab hold of the families AND other terrorists, overwhelming them with His love, with His grace -- and changing people, countries, & this world through changing them.

You can't change the past. You CAN change lives - through prayer.

"I look up to the mountains--
does my help come from there?
My help comes from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth!
"
(Psalm 121:1-2)
